These are not photographs of PLI Reverse Logistics
Every photograph on this site is licensed stock. None of them shows a PLI Reverse Logistics facility, a PLI employee or a customer’s plant, and nobody pictured works for PLI. They stand in for the work until PLI’s own photography is available.
Most have been cropped, resized or colour-adjusted to fit the layout. Those changes are this site’s, not the photographer’s, and where a licence requires it they are listed against the individual image below.

These 13 photographs carry no attribution requirement. They are listed for the record, so anyone maintaining the site can tell at a glance which images are free of conditions and which are not.

Returned cartons staged on pallets beside a conveyor in a receiving area, with one box opened for triage.
Used as the "What we do" band. The opened box is the point — that is returns triage in one frame. ALSO LIVE ON PLI ASSEMBLY as contact-hero-staged-cartons.jpg (its /contact/ hero). Cross-site reuse, accepted here on the argument that an image the parent library literally filed under reverse-logistics belongs on the reverse logistics brand; the assembly copy predates this page and was not disturbed. Replace one of the two first when PLI photography lands.

Used as the "Where we work" band. Product held under control while it is processed is the closest thing in the library to what a recall hold looks like, and the near-monochrome frame sits well on the black band. Used as the "Industries we serve" band, and the /services/#disposition band. Recovered product moving back toward outbound is the end state this division sells; with the receiving shot on "What we do", the two homepage bands read as in-and-back-out. Used as the /services/ hero, and that page's og:image. Duotone hero treatment. The parent site cropped it low on the stock on purpose — the crop is inherited as-is. ALSO the parent site's Warehousing industry hero. Cross-site reuse, accepted: an aisle of held cartons reads as returned stock in volume, which is this page's subject.

Used as the /services/#rework band. The only image in this set not live on any sibling division site — parent-site use only.

Rows of well-used hard hats on racks. No people in frame — every hat implies a person, but do not describe it as a crew (corrected 2026-08-27).
Used as the /about/ hero, and that page's og:image. Rendered with .is-natural — the family convention for About heroes is true colour rather than the brand duotone, because the page is about the people. The warmest colour in the library — which is why it also fronts the PLI Sorting /about/ page and two PLI Staffing pages. Cross-site reuse accepted for the same reason the Cleveland skyline below is.

The Cleveland, Ohio skyline seen across the river.
Used as the /about/ "Our roots" band. FOURTH DIVISION SITE TO USE THIS IMAGE — it is also the "Our roots" band on PLI Sorting, PLI Staffing, and PLI Assembly. Deliberate, not an oversight: it is the only Cleveland photograph in the library, all four divisions are Cleveland-based, and all four say so in a section with the same name. If PLI ever supplies its own Cleveland photography, this is the single highest-leverage replacement in the whole project.

Used as the /contact/ hero, and that page's og:image. Duotone treatment, framed high (--hero-pos 50% 38%) so both signs stay in frame — the signage is the point: the contact page is where you tell us what's coming back, and the picture says where it lands. ALSO the parent site's Distribution industry hero. Not used on any division site until now. The natural first choice was the returns- received triage shot the assembly site uses as its contact hero, but that image is already on this site's homepage and /services/#returns — a third appearance in one small site was too many.
